Designing water, sewage, and effluent treatment plants that meet regulatory standards and deliver long-term operational reliability.
OVERVIEW
HRP Infra delivers comprehensive design and engineering services for water treatment plants (WTPs), sewage treatment plants (STPs), and effluent treatment plants (ETPs). Our process engineers work from first principles — selecting the most appropriate treatment technology based on raw water quality, effluent standards, site conditions, and lifecycle costs.
We provide complete services from process design and layout planning through to structural drawings, electro-mechanical specifications, and construction supervision — ensuring every plant is commissioned to its full design capacity.
PLANT TYPES
We design conventional and advanced WTPs using processes calibrated to source water quality — producing potable water compliant with IS:10500 and WHO guidelines.
Design of river/reservoir intakes, approach channels, and raw water pump stations with appropriate sump and screen configurations.
Flash mixers, clari-flocculators, and tube settlers designed for optimal coagulant dosing and floc formation.
Horizontal/vertical flow clarifiers and rapid sand filters with backwash systems for particle removal and turbidity reduction.
Chlorination systems (gas, liquid, UV) sized for CT value compliance, followed by clear water reservoirs for treated water storage.
Our STP designs employ ASP, SBR, MBR, MBBR, and UASB technologies selected on the basis of inlet sewage characteristics, land availability, and treated effluent reuse requirements.
Screens, grit chambers, and flow equalization tanks to remove coarse solids and dampen hydraulic load variations.
Primary settling tanks for removal of settleable organics and suspended solids, with sludge collection and transfer systems.
Aerobic and/or anaerobic biological processes including aeration tanks, secondary clarifiers, and sludge return systems.
Tertiary filtration, nutrient removal, and UV/chlorination disinfection for effluent meeting CPCB norms or reuse criteria.
We design industrial ETPs tailored to specific effluent streams — food processing, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and petrochemicals — ensuring compliance with CPCB / SPCB discharge norms.
Detailed laboratory analysis and treatability studies to define design influent parameters and process selection criteria.
pH correction, coagulation, flocculation, and chemical precipitation for heavy metals and suspended solids removal.
Aerobic / anaerobic biological stages for BOD and COD reduction to meet consent order limits.
Sludge thickening, dewatering (filter press / centrifuge), and disposal strategy in accordance with Hazardous Waste Rules.
WHAT WE OFFER
Selection of unit operations, process flow diagrams (PFDs), mass balances, and sizing calculations for all treatment units based on influent quality and discharge standards.
Structural design of tanks, chambers, and buildings including M&E integration, foundations, and waterproofing in compliance with IS codes.
Equipment specifications for pumps, blowers, mixers, dosing systems, and panels including technical bid evaluation support during procurement.
Control philosophy development, SCADA architecture design, and instrumentation specifications to enable remote monitoring and automated process control.
Preparation of EIA reports, environmental management plans, and NOC applications to support regulatory approvals for new and upgraded plants.
On-site commissioning supervision, performance testing, and preparation of comprehensive O&M documentation to transfer knowledge to plant operators.
STANDARDS & COMPLIANCE
Water supply and treatment design per Central Public Health & Environmental Engineering Organisation guidelines.
Effluent discharge standards defined by the Central and State Pollution Control Boards for all plant types.
Structural, civil, and mechanical design as per applicable Bureau of Indian Standards specifications.
Treated water quality benchmarked against WHO drinking water guidelines and Indian potable water standards.
CODES & STANDARDS
Our WTP, STP, and ETP designs are governed by national public-health manuals, BIS standards, and statutory effluent and emission norms.
Our process engineers are ready to assess your requirements and propose the most appropriate and cost-effective treatment solution.
